Unit 2

Data and the data panel

The Data and the Data Panel unit teaches the basics of data exports, explores the EasyCatalog data panel and its functions, and covers how to import data into the panel. This course builds essential skills for working effectively with data in EasyCatalog. 

Unit 3

Pagination

The Pagination unit introduces five EasyCatalog pagination methods: Drag & Drop, Text Flow-Based, Guide-Based, Master Page, and Template Document. This unit helps students understand each approach effectively in automated document layouts.

Unit 4

Updating documents

The Updating Documents unit focuses on updating EasyCatalog-built InDesign documents with new data, syncing changes between the data source and the document, and managing page numbers within the EasyCatalog data panel.

Unit 5

Creating easycatalog-linked objects

The Creating EasyCatalog-Linked Objects unit teaches the creation and use of EasyCatalog Field Specifiers for linking objects with Record and Group Data. Students will learn about the characteristics of these specifiers and begin exploring EasyCatalog Pagination Rules.

Batch pagination
